2. Standard Brief-- GB 8624:2006 building products fire testing

GB 8624:2006 This standard replaced GB 8624:1997, this amendment by the European Union standards EN 13501-1:2002.

The standard compared with the GB 8624:1997 major changes, the main changes are as follows:

- The standard of the paving and pipe insulation materials, combustion provides separately for classification, combustion performance levels by the subscript fl and L to distinguish between, respectively;
- Combustion properties of the material divided by the A-level (homogeneous materials), A-level (composite sandwich materials), B1, B2 and B3 into five levels A1, A2, B, C, D, E, F or AF A_FL1、A_FL2、B_FL、C_FL、D_FL 、E_FL 、F_FL or A_L1、A_L2、B_L、C_L、D_L 、E_L 、F_L

4.1 Classes of reaction to fire performance for construction products excluding floorings

Class A1: According to GB/T 5464 and GB/T 14402; meet to the standards.

Class A2: According to GB/T 5464、GB/T 14402 and GB/T 20284; meet to the standards.

Class B、C、D: According to GB/T 20284、GB/T 20285、GB/T 8626; meet to the standards.

Class E: According to GB/T 8626; meet to the standards.

Class F: According to GB/T 8626; fail to the standards.

4.2 Classes of reaction to fire performance for floorings

Class A_FL1: According to GB/T 5464及GB/T 14402; meet to the standards.

Class A_FL2: According to GB/T 5464、GB/T 14402及GB/T 11785; meet to the standards.

Class B_FL、C_FL、D_FL: According to GB/T 11785、GB/T 8626、GB/T 20285; meet to the standards.

Class E_FL: According to GB/T 11785; meet to the standards.

Class F_FL: According to GB/T 11785; meet to the standards.

4.3 Classes of reaction to fire performance for linear pipe thermal insulation products.

Class A_L1: According to GB/T 5464 and GB/T 14402; meet to the standards.

Class A_L2: According to GB/T 5464、GB/T 14402 and GB/T 20284; meet to the standards.

Class B_L、C_L、D_L: According to GB/T 20284、GB/T 20285、GB/T 8626; meet to the standards.

Class E_L: According to GB/T 8626; meet to the standards.
